San Juan Vasquez is the Assistant Director for the Texas State University - San Marcos Small Business Development Center. Since 1993, Mr. Vasquez has been providing technical and management counseling to domestic and international clients. He also provides export training and assistance to community business leaders.

Mr. Vasquez' previous employment was Regional Director of Mexico and Latin America for the Texas Department of Commerce. He was responsible for developing and promoting state and federal export and finance programs.

Mr. Vasquez has over 20 years of experience in economic development and international trade. He is a graduate of the Certified American Graduate School of International Management, Glendale, Arizona; Exim Bank Training; and a graduate of Texas A & M University Economic Development Program. He has a B.S. in Management Human Resource from Park College, Kansas City, Missouri.
