The Texas State University SBDC is responsible for helping clients in a 12-county area in and around central Texas. Each year hundreds of entrepreneurs and small businesses benefit from the assistance our small business counselors provide. Our offices are dedicated to helping central Texas entrepreneurs and small businesses achieve their goals. Our team of experienced small business counselors provide many services and programs designed to help these individuals begin, improve, or grow their businesses. Our services include providing one-on-one counseling, assistance in writing business plans, various types of training, and help with marketing research. These services are provided free of charge, and are open to any US citizens or permanent residents interested in starting a for-profit business.
