Q: How do I apply for admission to the McCoy College of Business Administration?

A: The McCoy College of Business Administration (CBA) has a competitive admission standard. All students should work with the college's Advising Center to secure admission to the college. Please see the information here: http://www.business.txstate.edu/advising/admission.htm

Q: Where do I get my transcript?

A: You can access your transcript by using Catsweb or visit the McCoy College of Business Administration Advising Center, 115 McCoy Hall.

Q: What is my catalog year?

A: You can find this in your advising transcript as the year you began university work. If you transferred in from a four-year university, you will be in that year's catalog. If you transferred from a junior/community college, your catalog year is the year you began university work.

Q: When and where do I apply for graduation?

A: At the beginning of your last semester, apply in the McCoy College of Business Administration Advising Center, 115 McCoy Hall. Before your last semester, it is important to visit with an advisor in the Advising Center to make sure you are on track for meeting degree and graduation requirements.

Q: How do I get off of academic probation?

A: You must talk to the Associate Dean for undergraduate programs in 530 McCoy Hall and attend a probation advising session. This is the only way to remove a probation hold. Students retake classes to raise their course grades and GPA.

Q: What and where is the Ready Room?

A: The Ready Room Math/Computer Science Center 263 is the place to activate your Texas State username and password, which is needed to use computer labs, CATSWEB and other services. Phone # 245-2596, Help Desk # 245-7455, www.txstate.edu/computing.
