Fall 2006 – Activities and Projects:
- Meetings: tentatively scheduled for every other Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in McCoy Hall, room 124 with the first meeting on August 30.
- Community service activities: Habitat for Humanity or food bank service
- Guest speakers: faculty career services, or the business community
- Social events: end-semester party
- Officer selections:
- Meet with MBA Accreditation Committee
- Develop focus groups to provide insight for MBA program faculty and staff
- Continuing GBSA recruitment
Fall 2006 – Calendar
Aug 30th: Introductory meeting with guest speaker Dr. Davis, the graduate student advisor and discussion of upcoming GBSA events
Sept 13th: Officer selections
Oct 4th: Guest speaker from either career services or from the government
Oct 16th: GBSA members consult with MBA Accreditation Committee
Oct 18th: Guest speaker from either career services or from the government
Oct 21st: McCoy Hall dedication with a few representative from GBSA
Nov 8th: Possible guest speaker from 3M
Nov 29th: Last meeting, elections, and possibly a guest speaker.
