Michael Tucker is a senior at Texas State University, majoring in Marketing.  Michael is from Fort Worth, Texas and graduated from Central High School.  He hopes to one day work for an advertising agency as an account service director or market researcher.  Michael enjoys outdoor activities and exercising in his spare time.

Vice President of Advertising: Angel Prangner


 

Angel Prangner is a Junior pursuing a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing with a Sales Concentration at Texas State University-San Marcos.  She is involved all over campus with such groups as: Phi Beta Chi as their Social Chair and Public/Campus Relations Chair, McCoy College of Business as an Ambassador, a member of the University Honors program, and various other business organizations on campus. This year she is an Account Executive Intern for the CDW Corporation. When Angel has some free time she enjoys photography, reading, going to concerts, cooking, watching television, or enjoying her time with her closest friends. AMA has brought many opportunities to Angel to make her more marketable in the business field, and recommends that anyone that has a desire to get ahead in their future career should join AMA.

Vice President of Communication: Brooke Thraser

 

 

Brooke Thrasher is a junior at Texas State University, majoring in Marketing. She is involved on campus in several organizations such as Students in free enterprise (SIFE), and McCoy College Ambassadors. This year she is a Game Day Operations Intern for the Austin Toros, which is a NBA D-League basketball team. When Brooke has free time she enjoys reading, watching television, and hanging out with her closest friends. Brooke recommends to anyone in the business school to get involved in as many organizations as possible, because it gives you many opportunities for your future and educates you more than you would ever expect.

Vice President of Community Service: Jordan Anderson

 

 

Jordan Anderson is a Sophomore at Texas State University majoring in Marketing at the McCoy College of Business. Jordan is from Dallas, Texas and graduated early from Garland High School. She hopes to one day work in the Sports Marketing or Entertainment Marketing field. In her free time she enjoys playing volleyball, hanging out with friends and baking. This being her first semester as an officer, she is ready to help take Texas State AMA to the top.

Vice President of Corporate Sponsorship: Jagdish Vazirani

 

 

Jagdish is currently a Senior, getting his BBA in Marketing and has aspirations of becoming a Client Sales Manager for a Fortune 500 company. Jagdish's tasks include multi-tasking projects, maintaining current sponsors, and bringing new sponsors for Texas State AMA. On top his responsibilities within this association, Jagdish is also a current Student in Free Enterprise member. A few of his extra curricular activities consists of playing basketball, spending time with friends and family, meeting new people and learning about their experiences, reading, and helping those who want to help themselves!

Sara is a native of Plano, Texas; which is located in the Telecom Corridor and is the home of Legacy Business Park. Sara received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and is currently pursuing a Master's in Business Administration. She is currently employed by Texas State University-San Marcos as a Graduate Research Assistant. After graduation, Sara wishes to pursue a career in these possible fields: marketing research, social media marketing, or event planning.

Spencer Gourley is a senior marketing major at Texas State University, and currently the VP of Fundraising of the American Marketing Association (AMA). Before attending Texas State, he was already a local, graduating from San Marcos High School in 2007. Spencer is an avid wake and snow-boarder, who plans to continue his education after graduation in the spring of 2012.

Vice President of Internal Affairs: Charlie Downing

 

 

Charlie Downing was born in San Lorenzo, California. he grew up in Pearland, Texas and graduated from Pearland High School.
Charlie became involved with AMA his first semester at Texas State, immediately becoming an executive committee member where he was very involved in many of the activities and events. Charlie obtained an officer position within a semester. Charlie is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing with a professional sales concentration. As a professional career, he would like to be a Marketing Manager. In his spare time, Charlie likes to hang out with friends and play pool.

Vice President of Membership: Nicole Vanderburg

 

 

Nicole Vanderburg is a senior and will graduate May 2012 with a BBA in Marketing. While attending high school in her hometown, Austin, Texas, she knew that the business field was for her. Last year, she started out as an Advertising Executive Committee member and is currently serving as the officer of Career Opportunities and Alumni Relations. Nicole is also a part of Alpha Omega Campus Ministry and the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA). Her other interests are dancing, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.

Allison was born and raised in South Texas. She graduated from James Madison High School and decided to continue her education at Texas State University. She is currently pursuing Bachelors in Marketing. After graduation, Allison has ambitions to pursue a career in Sports Marketing or Pharmaceutical Sales.

Vice President of Programming: Erin Williamson

 

 

Erin Williamson is a senior Marketing major at Texas State University. Erin graduated from Kingwood High School in 2008 and will graduate from McCoy College of Business with a Bachelor's in Business Administration - Marketing in May 2012. Erin’s main passion is for sports marketing in which she has interned for the Houston Astros and the Texas State Athletics Department. Aside from being the Vice President of Special Programming, Erin is the President of the Gymnastics Team, section leader for Every Nation Campus Ministries, a McCoy Ambassador, on the Sports Club Alliance, and also on the Texas Gymnastics Conference Executive Board. Other interests include all sports, fantasy football, shopping, floating the river, and family.

Vice President of Internet: Luke McConaghy

 

 

Luke McConaghy is current Vice President of Internet for Texas State AMA. Luke is pursuing a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biology. He plans to get his MBA from St. Edward's University after graduation. Luke's interests are weightlifting, playing music, and computers. Samantha Quillman is a Junior majoring in Marketing at Texas State University – San Marcos. She is from  Round Rock, Texas . She is currently Vice President of Internet for the Texas State chapter of the American Marketing Association and a Resident Assistant on campus. Samantha’s interests are dancing, watching movies, and traveling.
