Our enthusiastic, student-oriented faculty are dedicated to developing students’ knowledge and skills that enable them to compete successfully in a dynamic business environment. With primary importance placed on teaching excellence, our programs are designed to develop skills in information technology, oral and written communication, problem solving, and teamwork. These skills in combination with critical information regarding ethical business behavior, the global economy, and diversity of the workplace provide our students exciting career opportunities in today's vibrant business environment. |
| Our undergraduate students may major in accounting, computer information systems, economics, finance, management, and marketing. In addition, business administration may be selected as a minor by non-business majors. At the graduate level, we offer the Master of Business Administration, the Master of Accountancy, and the Master of Science in Accounting and Information Technology degrees. Our degree programs are accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, AACSB—International. |

McCoy College students have many opportunities to learn by doing. Sixteen student organizations allow members to apply classroom knowledge to business situations, provide service to the community, and enjoy social networking. Many of the organizations participate in and win national and regional competitions. We are very proud of the accomplishments of our students. |
| Our home, McCoy Hall, was completed in May 2006 and supports the applied learning approach used by our faculty. The building houses the T. Paul Bulmahn Research and Trading Lab in which our students and faculty have access to financial data to enhance their learning and research experiences. In addition to the trading lab, high-tech classrooms, student and team study areas, computer labs, and a variety of other instructional settings promote the development of tomorrow’s business leaders. |
When your travels bring you to this area, please stop by and visit McCoy College and the Texas State campus. |
