Dean Denise Smart received the SMA Fellow award from the Society for Marketing Advances.  The SMA Fellow award is the organization’s highest individual honor.  She was recognized for her long-term meritorious contributions to SMA and to the marketing discipline.
 
Texas State Small Business Development Center client Cynthia Rubio, owner of Radiant RFID in Austin, TX, was recently named a finalist in the Make Mine a Million $ Business program. The announcement was made at the Texas Conference for Women in October. (more)
 
McCoy’s Building Supply was a key sponsor of the 2007 AITP Region 3 student conference that was held on October 25-27 in McCoy Hall.  Over 280 information technology students, faculty, professionals, sponsors and exhibitors were in attendance.  Highlights of the conference and results of the individual competitions can be found here.
