The Kappa Eta (Texas State) chapter of Beta Alpha Psi won 1st place at the regional competition on Saturday in San Antonio. Their competition was teaching college students about Financial Literacy. The presentation team of Tess Kwiatkowski, Kayla Byars and Brandi Hoefar did a great job with poise. The team will next present in Anaheim, CA in August at the national competition.
Christina McKinney did a presentation at the Regional meeting on maintaining Web pages for the chapters. It received rave reviews from the students and faculty advisors.
Texas State was host chapter with UTSA for the regional meeting. The students did a great job of meeting their responsibilities and representing Texas State. The students at the regional meeting were: Brian Konvicka, Kayla Byars, Christina McKinney, Marcus Brooks, Ryan Buxkemper, Chase Clements, Brandi Hoefar, David Jackson, Tess Kwiatkowski, and Daniele Zurovec. |
